Prior to launching the firm, Desarae practiced for more than a decade at traditionally modeled mid-size firms, including as a partner at a regional firm based in Kansas City. In 2019 she pursued her longtime entrepreneurial ambition and founded Harrah Law. Since then the firm has added senior attorney Brian McEachen and COO Kaylie Kahlich, and received accolades including being named a Greater Kansas City Chamber of Commerce Small Business Superstar and ranking on the Kansas City Business Journal's list of Top Women-Owned Businesses.
