Brian McEachen advocates on behalf of individuals and businesses in a wide variety of complex matters, helping them resolve challenging legal situations in the most judicious means possible. He brings two decades of well-rounded litigation experience to cases, including handling all aspects of numerous evictions, foreclosure and creditor’s rights proceedings.
Prior to joining the firm, Brian practiced at a regional law firm specialized in default service representation to loan servicers. While there he represented lenders in commercial loan defaults, fraud and lender liability issues, as well as garnishments and general collection matters.
He then served as the head of the firm’s eviction department, managing the evictions process from referral through trial across four states. Brian also spent several years practicing at a boutique plaintiffs’ firm in Kansas City where he worked on criminal defense and civil litigation.
Now at Harrah Law, Brian applies his breadth of knowledge and understanding of regulations and proceedings to develop litigation strategies that minimize risk and protect his clients’ interests. Clients benefit from and appreciate his background and amiable demeanor throughout the litigation process. His hands-on approach ensures they feel informed and supported until a favorable resolution is secured. Brian earned his J.D. from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law, and a B.A. in Political Science from DePauw University. He is admitted to practice in Kansas, Missouri, the U.S. District Court of Kansas and the U.S. District Court of Missouri.
